You need to set up an assessment before you can make a submission to be marked. With Marking.ai, you can create assessments quickly and efficiently. This article will guide you through how to create your assessment.

There’s a couple of ways you can set up a new assessment. Let’s take a look at these below.

Step 1: Click on the ‘Your assessments’ tab

To add a new question, navigate to ‘Your assessments’ tab and click on the option to Add assessment. This will open a form where you can enter the details of your assessment.

Step 2: Fill in assessment Details

In the form that appears, you'll see several fields where you can enter information about your assessment:

• Name: Here, you input the name that you want to give your assessment.
• Subject (Optional): Select the subject this question pertains to from a dropdown menu. If your question isn't subject-specific or if the subject isn't listed, you can leave this blank.
• Grade or year (Optional): You can specify the educational level the question is targeted towards, such as "Grade 10" or "Year 2".
• Curriculum (optional): If you wish, add a specific curriculum associated with your assessment.
