Our new Custom Feedback feature gives you the power to personalise the way feedback is delivered to your students. Whether you want to align your comments with your school's pedagogical tone or highlight specific skills in a certain way, this tool gives you complete control. Here's how to use it effectively:
🔐 Availability
Custom Feedback is available exclusively on paid plans. If you're on a free plan, you can upgrade via the billing section to unlock this feature.
⚙️ How to Access
- Click on your Settings in the top right corner of the dashboard.
- Navigate to the Customisation tab.
🧱 Exploring Feedback Structures
Once you're in the Customisation tab:
- You will see a set of tiles on the left-hand side.
- Click on any tile to view and edit the feedback structure that you’d like to be used when you’re marking your submissions.
- Examples are provided within each tile to help guide your changes.
Note: Any changes you make are automatically saved once a tile is clicked, and will be applied to your marking from the next submission onwards.
📝 What Can Be Customised?
- Long-form responses (like essays or extended written answers) are where your custom feedback will really shine.
- For shorter questions (like multiple choice, true/false, or short answers), we use standardised feedback structures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
